Carnival Houston needs you to help Houston lead Texas in celebrating cultural Diversity in Houston. The event will bring thousands of people into the heart of Houston for parade of costumes, food, performances and fun.
We need your help as event volunteers. Assignments will include assisting as festival greeters, ticket sellers or scanner, or assisting in any of the many zones that make up the festival’s infrastructure. In return for your time, you will be treated to world-class entertainment, food, great refreshments, and festival t-shirt. We hope to see you there.

Note that if you must be 16 or older to volunteer. If are UNDER 18 you must bring a copy of the waiver with your parent’s signature to the event. We will contact you for more details and send you the waiver form after you register.
AREAS WHERE YOU CAN VOLUNTEER
ADMISSIONS: Selling admission tickets to the general public
TICKER TAKERS: Greet festival guests and take their admission tickets and place in in admission container.
PARADE COORDINATORS: Assisting the participants of the Parade.
BEVERAGE BOOTH: Selling beverages to festival guests. Taking coupons for drinks. Some restocking and inventory at the end of the day. You MUST wear a hat to work in this booth!
COUPON BOOTH: Selling coupons to festival guests for food, beverages and games.
FESTIVAL GREETERS: Greeting festival guests at entrance gates. Passing out Event Guides, etc.
FLEX TEAM: We consider this group the most "flexible" volunteers. These volunteers need to be ready to go wherever they are needed during their shift. These volunteers are used to "fill-in" for volunteers who do not show up or to cover last minute emergency needs.
Keeping the area clean for sponsors, including trash handling. Restocking drinks and ice.
VOLUNTEER HEADQUARTERS: Assisting with volunteer check-in.
